Click save file and save your punkbuster setup to a wherever you needed.. just do not worry about the black background..this shows my download folder where I have downloaded punkbuster setup..Double click it..(If it is a zip file you have to extract it).. go through if it needed some things to update and install..then, Click Add a Game Then from the dialog box select Call of Duty 4 and give the path to the game by browsing.. Now your game is added to the list..Click check for Updates..It will take few updating close it. So if Punkbuster installed correctly just go to your game folder and check,is there a folder call pb or PB.. You will think that they are kicked from the servers because they are hackers or cheaters..Actually nope..This software will kick other gammers too if the punkbuster is not installed or updated..Actually, we cannot find the hackers from this software. It is done..well done..So I will come with the next tutorial how to update pb if it is all ready installed!!

After a few tries, where only PB launched and wanted me to update, nothing happens anymore. The play button turns blue, but then again green. I tried it with the desktop thingy, didn´t work either. The link in the pinned thread doesn´t work either, I just wanna enjoy a good campaign.

I installed Cod 4 today and i entered a server and then it kicked me something that said : Punkbuster blah blah blah, no packet flow. I read online that Punkbuster doesnt support this game anymore so how do the people stay connected on the server that i connected to . Any help?
PunkBuster files for Call of Duty games Archive of latest PunkBuster files for Call of Duty games. Why? Although contract between Activision and Even Balance has ended and PunkBuster is not supported for Call of Duty games anymore, there is still some useful functionality that PunkBuster can provide for Call of Duty game servers. One reason is to make obtaining those files easier and second reason is the fear that one day these files will not exist in EvenBalance servers anymore that the files were removed from Even Balance's servers. How to use? Just download the appropriate pb folder and move it to the game folder. All missing files will be created from the existing ones. You might need to update your PBSvc, though. How were files obtained? Files were obtained using the PBSetup tool. Once PBSetup has been run, it creates which contains information about available games in readable format.
