The glamour dresser is for items that you will want to glamour often and/or items precious to you you would not want to lose by accident. anything else should be put in a retainer, chocobo saddlebag, or on your person (or sold to the appropriate vendor for cash/go npc for seals). 12. The old glamour system will remain as well. You can just glamour the weapon the usual way, and create a glamour plate which just contains armour and no weapon. The weapon glamour should not be overwritten. Or that's what I assume the case is. The notes don't specify that you can't use glamour plates and traditional glamours together.
The first step is to store an item in the glamour dresser. With the item you wish to store and a glamour prism in your possession, access the glamour dresser. Glamour prisms can be obtained via various methods, including the Grand Company Seal Exchange. Choose the category from the dropdown menu, then the item you wish to place in the glamour

You need a glamour prism to place things inside the glamour dresser. Once an item is in the glamour dresser you may choose that item to apply it as a glamour to a specific item. You may also apply that item to a glamour plate with other items, then you may apply glamour plates over multiple items. You may also link glamour plates to gear sets.
